From Wine Talk to Wild Dreams: The Dolly & Naana Diaries

You know those late-night wine chats where someone says, “We should totally start a business”? And everyone laughs, clinks glasses, and forgets about it by morning?

Well… we didn’t forget.

We’re Dolly and Naana, two sisters, two full-time working mums, and now… brand founders. Turns out, you can build a business while juggling school drop-offs, chasing toddlers who disappear mid-toilet training, and pretending not to hear the “Muuuuuum!” every time you sneak away for a Zoom call.

We Started With Chaos and Commitment

The idea brewed for ages. Between nappies and nine-to-fives, it was one of those “some-day” dreams. And then one evening (after, let's just say, generous hydration via Pinot Gris), we looked at each other and said:

“Why not now?”

Cue: website attempts, product brainstorms during school pick-ups, branding discussions while folding laundry, and an infinite number of WhatsApp voice notes that started with “Okay, don't freak out, but I’ve had an idea…”

If You’re Juggling It All, We See You

This blog isn’t here to pretend we’ve figured it all out. We’re writing this with a half-eaten sandwich next to the laptop, a child asleep in their Elsa costume, and great dry shampoo technique happening up top (thank you Klorane!).

We're here to say:

Dolly & Naana Is More Than a Brand

It’s a sisterhood. A mum club. A wink across the playground saying, “Yes, I also have a snack bag filled with crushed biscuits and half a mandarin.”

We built this brand to make you smile, feel seen, and maybe, just maybe.... Treat yourself to something that’s both beautiful and practical (because when does that combo actually happen?!).

So here’s to us - all of us, doing our best, dreaming big, and laughing through the madness. Thanks for being part of our journey. We hear you. We see you. And trust us… we get it.
